Wis, I agree that is a great China-Rider, 71 is my favorite year but not by much, just all the shows have a little of a raw feeling to them and you get pig and keith and two drummers into one. Good call on the China rider and keep the 71 love coming!

No not my first time. I wish Charlie Miller could get his hands on these tapes and upgrade them like he did for the 23rd (I think he upgraded the 23rd though I may be wrong!) Although I am listening to the winter/spring tour of 73 (been on a quest to listen to all the shows I have, started on 1970 about a year ago) I love 71! My favorite part is either the April run or the December run of that year, the October run is pretty sweet too! Keep diggin through 71 there is a lot of good stuff during this year. I just got my hands on the 4/24/71 show and found there are some nice gems on that. Seeing that the 4/25-4/29 run gets most of the attention of that month, the 4/24 show is pretty dam good too. Mr Miller just recently put out an upgrade to the 10/19/71 Northrup show, it sounds fantastic. I wish as I was doing all this listening from 70 on I was taking some notes but not enough time to do so. I usually listen in the car, while having dinner or working so no time for notes but to me 71 is a special year! I like it better than 70 but 72-74 are very close for me to 71 as well. Although 67-69.......! Love the GD!
